Joy Wagner attended an educational program in the
Chicago area in 2003. David L. Lander, ( 'Squiggy' on the
Laverne and Shirley show), was the motivational speaker.
He hid his MS from the world for many years and has written
a book called Fall Down Laughing. He had the audience
laughing often and loudly, which is the best medicine for what
ever ails you. After the program, he patiently signed his book
for everyone who asked. I thank him for sharing his personal
experiences with MS and inviting everyone to laugh with him.
